Ctrack joins RHA as associate member

Ctrack has become an Associate Member of the Road Haulage Association (RHA) as part of its commitment to providing industry-specific tracking solutions to the road transport sector.

This development coincides with the introduction of a number of telematics initiatives designed to help commercial vehicle operators to overcome key challenges they face such as rising fuel costs, operational compliance and duty of care.

Earlier this month Ctrack launched an innovative tool that will enable fleet operators to extract CANBus data from commercial vehicles without the risk of invalidating the manufacturer’s warranties. Unlike other systems in the marketplace, Ctrack’s CANTouch offers a cost effective solution with total peace of mind to gain valuable insight into fuel consumption and driver behaviour.

Meanwhile, the vehicle tracking and resource management specialist has recently teamed up with Truckfile to integrate its leading telematics technology with the fleet and workshop management system. The collaboration will enhance the functionality of the Truckfile solution, with users able to access additional fleet data from the Ctrack system through the application. This will increase fleet operators experience and will also support improved automation of areas such as maintenance scheduling.

John Wisdom, Managing Director of Ctrack in the UK commented: “There are many proven business and operational benefits available to road transport operators using vehicle tracking, so we are committed to developing a range of tracking tools that will deliver measurable returns. The recent RHA survey found that 100 per cent of operators that have installed such a system believe it has been a good investment, so this underlines the value the technology can provide.”
